The central reserve features a stylized flowering tree set within a fenced garden, a beloved motif inspired by Chinese porcelain that became a hallmark of Dutch Delftware during the 18th century, Circa 1725–1750. Surrounding the scene is an elegant border of scrolling foliate decoration, beautifully framing the composition.

The reverse bears a painted monogram mark attributed to the De Klaauw (The Claw) factory, one of the most respected Delft potteries of the period. Established in Delft, the factory was renowned for producing finely painted tin-glazed earthenware that combined Dutch craftsmanship with oriental inspired decoration.
