The molded glass features a distinctive Streamline Moderne profile with stepped architectural edges and three horizontal “speed-line” ribs running across the center—a classic decorative motif associated with Art Deco lighting of the period.
Made of opaque white milk glass, the shade was designed to diffuse light softly while concealing the bulb. Its compact rectangular form was commonly used with wall-mounted fixtures in bathrooms, powder rooms, vanity areas, hallways, and similar interior spaces.
