This beautiful stool has … Read more A wonderful example of an industrial architects stool by the manufacturer heliolithe of lyon and paris. This beautiful stool has a worn ply seat with a gently chamfered edge with a swivel height adjustable mechanism beneath. The stool is made of a shapely tubular steel frame with four sweeping legs united by peripheral stretchers doubling up as footrests. The original makers badge is particularly prominent to the base of the seat. The stool remains in superb condition with excellent green and gold patination throughout. A splendid item of iconic european industrial furniture. French, circa 1950.
