We are selling this great large scale carved wood swag. This fruit swag is carved in Baroque or Rococo style, it is hand carved and was probably originally gesso’d with gilt or polychrome surface. The swag is probably Continental in origin, most likely French or Italian. Some old repairs and alterations but appears to be 17th or 18th century.
Condition: Heavy wear with surface loss and repairs. Has been modified since creation.
