A pair of folding campaign chairs in faux bamboo hardwood — believed to be teak with original herringbone wicker seats and backs — uncommon at this age. Leather arm straps with brass hardware. Turned finials. Folds flat.
Acquired from a British sailing family departing Tortola after Hurricane Irma. These chairs enjoyed the good life before this one.
Leather arm straps replaced prior to acquisition — quality work, consistent with the period. Frame cleaned and waxed. Brass lightly buffed. Seat support board replaced to properly back the original wicker; not visible and consistent with period construction. Wicker original and structurally sound.
23"W × 15.5"D seat × 19.5"H seat × 34.5"H overall. Sold as a pair.
