The … Read more Rare antique Emeralite lamp circa 1930, with no pull chains, but instead an easy turn knob that works great. The lamp holds 2 bulbs in a porcelain socket (bulbs are not included). Both the stem and shade are adjustable. They can be somewhat tilted, if your need requires. From my closeup pictures, the finish does show some wear due to age and use. I did notice a teeny weeny chip on the back of the shade as seen in my pictures, but once the shade is in place, it will not show, because the metal bracket covers that portion of the shade. The chip does not interfere with the integrity of the shade. This is a nice looking, heavy, well made lamp. It stands with attached shade 13.75" tall.
