This magnificent, antique Victorian enameled art glass pitcher is masterfully hand-crafted, dating to the late 19th century (circa 1885–1900). Featuring a beautifully frosted satin glass body, this striking vessel is adorned with a heavily textured, hand-applied floral enamel design depicting blooming peach chrysanthemums, lush green foliage, and delicate blue accent florets. It serves as an elite statement addition to an antique bar cart display, a beautiful spring tablescape showcase, or an authentic historical accent for a curated Victorian or English Cottage home.
A breathtaking example of late 19th-century European art glass craftsmanship, showcasing the meticulous enameled work popularized by historic Bohemian workshops like Harrach and Moser. The underside base features a ground-smooth pontil circle displaying the authentic, hand-applied white enamel factory registry number "1035". This specific marking style serves as an ironclad signature identifying the precise shape and decorator workshop run from circa 1890. The pitcher is blown from heavy, satin-finished frosted glass that diffuses light with a soft, ethereal glow. The upper rim and scalloped pouring spout are highlighted by a thick band of bright, hand-applied gold gilt trim. The body rests on an architectural, multi-faceted fluted base ring, adding magnificent sculptural interest to its traditional silhouette. The interior throat of the pitcher features an authentic internal glass wave and cooling striation line near the spout base. While it visually resembles a smear of clear residue or glue, this is a factory-original artifact from the 19th-century glassblowing process. It was created when the artisan used iron shears and jacks to pull and shape the molten glass to form the pouring spout, standing as a beautiful signature of mouth-blown antique production.

The frosted glass remains beautifully uniform and clear, entirely free of structural cracks, deep chips, flea bites, or modern repairs. The hand-painted enamel floral motifs remain remarkably vibrant, completely intact, and beautifully raised with crisp tactile texture. The gold gilt rim is exceptionally well-preserved, showing only the finest, honest micro-wear along the outer edges consistent with historical display. As is correct for mouth-blown Bohemian glass of this era, minor internal cooling lines, air bubbles, and factory glass shear marks are present on the interior from the day of production, emphasizing its hand-crafted, non-industrial history. less
