The square table top, dating to circa 1980, features striking geometric micro-mosaic woodwork (intarsia/tarsia). Intricately hand-assembled with warm fruitwoods, rich walnut, contrasting dark borders, and geometric bone and mother-of-pearl tesserae, the design centers on a dramatic starburst pattern. The apron edges are finished with continuous micro-inlay banding.

The top rests on a later custom-fitted ebonized frame featuring straight square legs and a practical lower-tier shelf—providing a sleek, modern foundation that lets the detailed historical mosaic work take center stage.

Both the top and the lower shelf are removable
