A striking matched pair of monochrome anatomy engravings with strong graphic presence and an elegantly scholarly feel. Depicting the human muscular and skeletal systems, the two plates create a cohesive gallery for a study, library, office, medical setting, or layered contemporary interior.
Originally published in the 1845 Encyclopaedia Metropolitana, each engraving retains its original fold lines and softly aged paper.
