This collection of 6 features a distinct pink bowl paired with a pale green pedestal base, earning it the nickname of “watermelon glass”. Design is characteristic of a diamond optic pattern and a footed base. These footed design glasses were often used for serving sherbet or cocktails. They are a very delicate glass made with a uranium, which causes the green base to glow under a UV light. See less

They are a very "delicate glass" made with a uranium, which causes the green base to glow under a UV light. These glasses are in near perfect condition. One glass feels like it has a rough spot, which may have come from production, it's on the top rim of the glass, one can slightly feel it but it is not noticeable to the eye. A very beautiful, seldom seen as a 6 set. Beautiful for use, display or gift to a 50’s plus wedding anniversary gift. Enjoy....... Ernest Clair NYC less
