This chair balances colorblocking with geometric forms for a distinct theatricality. Constructed from flat panels of lacquered wood, it pairs a towering, inverted trapezoidal backrest in blue with a white squared seat panel atop two undulating, sculptural black side panels. Mendini designed these objects as "Timeless Objects" intended to evoke emotional memories and artistic friction through color and geometry.
