Likely made in france in the 1970s, they exude an elegantly relaxed, coastal-boho style. Generously oversized and wonderfully comfortable, this pair of woven rattan ‘mushroom’ chairs make a strikingly impressive statement, are a joy to relax in and will enhance any interior with their rich, golden colouring and effortlessly stylish, sculptural-organic aesthetic.

artisan-crafted by hand-weaving rattan around a metal frame, these extra-large beauties are very sturdy and display a plethora of stunningly streamlined, bubble and doughnut-like curves, which create interest and evoke a futuristic, space-age feel.

this wonderful pair of armchairs are in very good vintage condition. Solid and structurally sound, they have only to-be-expected signs of ageing in the form of hard-to-notice rattan wear, minor losses and discolouration, which only add to their vintage appeal. Overall they’re a gorgeous and wonderfully eye-catching pair in remarkable vintage condition and if well looked after they should be just as stunning for decades to come – please see the photos.
