At over 9' tall, carved fruit, leaves, lion heads, flourishes and more add to its strong presence. Even the sides are paneled. The "sawtooth" shelving allows the shelves to be easily adjusted by moving the pegs upon which the shelves rest. This display cabinet is built in 3 sections, making it easier to install the heavy oak lower cabinet with two doors and the upper display cabinet with glass doors topped by a separate crown. This antique oak bookcase is strong and stable, ready to be used and enjoyed. Upper cabinets open with use of 1 key; locks function stiffly. Lower cabinets open using 2 keys as pull only (locks no longer function).
All scratches, cracks (right side), dings, shifting fit of shelf pegs and age related separation are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this striking display cabinet.
