Antique English Mahogany Smoking Cabinet with Glass-Lined Humidor and Accessory Drawer
A handsome antique English smoking cabinet crafted from richly toned mahogany and raised on elegantly turned legs joined by graceful stretchers terminating in distinctive bun feet. Designed during the early 20th century, this refined gentleman's cabinet combines timeless craftsmanship with practical functionality.
The hinged lift-top opens to reveal a glass-lined humidor compartment, originally intended for storing cigars, pipe tobacco, and other smoking essentials while helping preserve freshness. Below, a convenient pull-out drawer provides additional storage for pipes, cigar cutters, matches, or personal accessories.
Its clean lines and understated elegance reflect the influence of the Edwardian period, while the compact footprint makes it ideal beside a favorite armchair, in a library, office, study, or lounge. Today, it also serves beautifully as a distinctive end table or decorative accent cabinet.
A fine example of traditional English craftsmanship offering both historic charm and everyday versatility.
