This elegant hand-blown Murano glass basket features a beautifully scalloped opaline white bowl, an impressive twisted pink handle and a striking radial spiral decoration in black, amber and white.

The exceptional quality of the glasswork and the unusual spiral base distinguish this piece from the more common Murano baskets produced during the period. The dynamic ribbon pattern creates remarkable depth and movement, while the sculptural handle showcases the craftsmanship of Murano glassmakers.

Although unsigned, the basket displays stylistic characteristics associated with high-quality Murano production of the late 1950s and early 1960s and shows similarities with works from the Fratelli Toso circle, while remaining sold as an unattributed Murano workshop piece.
