Buy War Bonds, featuring artwork by Georges Schreiber (1904-1977) and published by the U.S. Government Printing Office in 1943. The composition depicts an American fighter pilot in flight gear beside a military aircraft bearing six Japanese Rising Sun victory markings. Bold lettering reads “Keep Him Flying! Buy War Bonds.” Issued as part of the U.S. Treasury’s wartime campaign encouraging Americans to purchase war bonds and financially support the war effort.
