The desk comes complete with all original gilt bronze fixtures and fittings including two keys for the locks. It has four large drawers to the front, the left drawer is a very large single drawer with a safe drawer inside, the top has been removed at some point. There are some signs of the original maker, a pencil signature to the base which is very faded, the gilt bronze feet are serial number stamped which looks to read BG699 The patina is lovely and original however it's period so has all the normal marks you would expect from a piece this age. Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
