Fabulous piece of American art glass that appears to be early 20thC vintage. Attributed to Tiffany (see below).
A perfect example of high quality Art Nouveau glass, beautifully blown and featuring a gorgeous, iridescent surface decor that looks to be a King Tut pattern (or adjacent) in blue and blue-green. The vase is attached to a short stem and base having a shimmering gold finish.
In researching this piece, we were able locate the original auction sale of it, as well as its later offering from a website. Both listings had it identified as Tiffany.
No imperfections. Measures about 9"x 4". In excellent, 'as made' condition with some expected wear to the foot rim. No chips or cracks. Engrave signed "12028 L.C.T. Favrile".
