This is a circa. 1990s hand carved Iroko (also known as African Teak) partitioned leaf-shaped bowl. Perfectly safe for dry snacks, the bowl can also be used as a catch-all on a console for keys or loose change, or to display jewelry, or as an office organizer on a desk.
Iroko comes from the tropical regions of Western Central Africa, and is just as durable as the Teak produced in Thailand, Malaysia, etc.
