Rare authentic vintage McGuire San Francisco matching sofa and lounge chair set. This exceptional set features the craftsmanship McGuire is known for, including honey-blonde rattan construction, open woven cane backs, wraparound woven sides, signature braided detailing, and hand-wrapped rawhide bindings.
Both pieces retain their original McGuire San Francisco brass tags. The set includes the original solid aquamarine cushions and is in excellent structural condition. The rawhide bindings are approximately 98% intact, with only a small area of historic rabbit chewing that does not affect the stability or use of the furniture.
A beautiful example of California coastal design with strong appeal for Palm Beach, organic modern, tropical, and Hollywood Regency interiors. This matching sofa and lounge chair set was acquired from a luxury Boca Raton Island estate and represents a rare opportunity to own authentic vintage McGuire furniture.
