This set includes the original walnut dining table and six matching Drexel chairs, including five side chairs and one captain’s chair.

The walnut has been carefully restored to highlight its natural beauty while preserving the character of this vintage piece. The chairs have been structurally tightened where needed and reupholstered in a soft olive-green textured fabric that complements the warmth of the walnut and the original mid-century design. Unlike many surviving Declaration sets, this example has already been restored and is ready for everyday use.

One of the hallmarks of this table is its versatility. With both drop leaves lowered, it has a compact footprint that works well in smaller spaces. Raised, it provides a generous dining surface for family meals and entertaining.

Please note: The original center extension leaf is not included. The table functions beautifully with its two hinged drop leaves and measures 27.5 inches wide when closed and 62 inches wide with both drop leaves raised. The missing center leaf has been considered in the pricing.
