Made of thrown and … Read more All different yet all very charming, these small bowls come from the workshop of a painter. Made of thrown and glazed stoneware, they are the work of a single potter, whose signature can be found on the underside of each piece. The diversity and quality of the glazes are interesting, as is the variation in shape, ranging from the inspiration of Japanese tea bowls to a more flared profile for the larger ones. Traces of yellow, green, and blue oil paint evoke their past, giving them added character and a unique story.

The pieces are antique, made of thrown stoneware, and mostly glazed. They are all different in shape and glaze color. Very subtle losses of glaze are sometimes visible. Some pieces show traces of paint, as seen in the photos. Each bowl is signed. The price is for the set of 10 pieces.

10 to 14 cm in diameter, 6 to 11 cm in height. Height varies from piece to piece. See less
