Sheraton Style Cherry Side Table. Table features a warm cherry wood finish and a single dovetailed drawer fitted with a classic wooden knob. It rests on turned and tapered legs that lend the piece both elegance and visual lightness. Inspired by the designs of English cabinetmaker Thomas Sheraton (1751-1806), this style became popular in America during the late Federal period.
In modern homes, this table is very versatile as a lamp table, end table, bedside table, or as an accent table in an entryway. The convenient drawer provides storage for books, remotes, or personal items. The modest size of the table makes it ideal to pair with Farmhouse, Traditional, Americana, Federal and Transitional interiors, adding warmth, history, and authentic craftsmanship to any room.
