Back in the Downton Abbey days when there were footmen and servants, the butler would roll the dumbwaiter filled with food, dishes and desserts into the dining room to serve the guests. The top shelf has a gallery on three sides to hold silver, glassware and china in place. The ring-turned balusters have ball finials and they end in the original brass casters with porcelain wheels. Some minor wear and scratches consistent with its age, but good sturdy condition and ready to place. At only 35" wide, it is the perfect addition to any room for displaying collections or holding books. See less
