These two chairs are in solid, good, usable condition with next to no corrosion present. They are not a matched pair, and it is believed that the one on the right is midcentury vintage and the other is older, possibly from the 1930s. It is difficult to determine what the original color was, possibly green. Then they were cream, white, possibly some other colors, and now red. These multiple layers of paint over the years did a nice job of holding off the corrosion. When we received them, they were dirty, and the paint was flaking off in places. We cleaned them well, removed the larger paint flakes, and then the chairs were treated with clear enamel to seal things up further and help them last longer into the future without deterioration. Neither has any damage such as stripped or missing bolts, cracks at the seams or corners, or dents. The arms and leg sections are as they should be, and the seats and backrests are in very good condition. As is obvious, they are showing their age in the form of scrapes and chipped paint, which gives them some character. Please see the pictures for further details.
