This commanding statement piece exemplifies the height of Jazz Age opulence and Beaux-Arts architectural grandness.
The frame features deep, sweeping openwork scrolls, cascading acanthus leaf flourishes along the columns, and a magnificent central crest cartouche. The intricate, deep-relief ornamentation remains intact, finished in a stunningly aged gold patina that exhibits beautiful, authentic historical character.
Perfectly scaled for an entry hall, over a fireplace mantle, or a grand dining room, this mirror captures the exact architectural DNA of one of the Southeast’s most legendary historic landmarks. A rare find for collectors and interior designers seeking old-world glamour. Sold as-is.
