A substantial vintage West German Bay Keramik ceramic planter featuring vivid red glaze, deeply textured black lava-glaze bands, and a dark chocolate-brown bottom. The horizontal glazing and gently tapered form give the planter a bold, graphic presence.
The interior is lazed in brown. Marked Bay, W. Germany, and 533-19 on the underside.
Very good vintage condition with age-appropriate glaze irregularities and minor surface wear. No chips or cracks observed.
Approximately 6.5" H × 7.5" diameter at the rim. This is a heavy piece for its size.
