Made in the 1960s this line was ahead of its design in modern it’s sleek pencil slightly angled legs the house 4 solid brass rings. Along with its solid brass handles that compliment the rosewood quite nicely. The floating drawers and shelf design is strikingly gorgeous and speaks mid century modern at its peak in the 1960s. Along with it’s beautiful square tile inlaid into the top. This is the type of detail you just don’t see anymore. This lane desk is simply gorgeous and has been professionally restored from top to bottom to inside out. All the wood has been refinished back to it’s original color show casing the rosewood top and drawers and back which all looks gorgeous when walked into the room. This Desk has been refinished in a flat lacquer sheen finish. The other birch wood has been refinished back to its walnut color and it looks amazing. The inside of the drawers have been refinished as well with no weird smells. All drawers glide in a out with ease. Desk conists of brass ring accents and handles that all have been hand polished and lacquered to preserve the brass for years to come. This desk has had all the structure gone thru and corrected any issues. This desk is solid and sound and sturdy. A beautiful rare iconic lane desk that’s refinished from all sides including the back so you may place in the middle of a room.
