About the artist: Gaston Niezabytowski (also known as Gaston Niezab or 'Bazein') was a French illustrator known for his comic art. His career started as a decorator for the Paris Opera, and he began making comics after fighting in the first World War.
This original illustration depicts the French region of Auvergne, including charming depictions of traditional attire of the region.
