This pair of vintage Paul Hanson hammered brass table lamps, crafted in the United States circa 1960. The ginger jar style body sits atop a black Ming style base and the original finials echo the brass and black. Known for their superior craftsmanship and sophisticated designs, Paul Hanson lamps have long been favored by for their substantial construction and understated elegance.
The lamps retain their brass harps, ball finials, and period socket hardware. We believe the pleated fabric shades to be original also and they are built on brass frames. Traces of an original Paul Hanson foil label remains on one of the sockets, further supporting their authenticity. The other socket has been replaced.
The warm aged brass finish has been gently preserved, showcasing decades of character without excessive polishing.
These substantial, high-quality lamps are equally at home in Mid-Century Modern, Traditional, Hollywood Regency, English Country, or Transitional interiors.

The lamp is 20” to base of socket.
Each shade is 20.5”w at the bottom and 11.5” at the top. The shade is 14.25”l.

Very good vintage condition with an attractive aged brass patina consistent with age. Original non-polarized wiring is present and functional, though buyers may wish to have vintage lighting inspected or rewired to meet modern preferences. Pleated shades show light age-related wear and discoloration consistent with decades of use. There is patina on the brass which we chose not to polish out. One small dent was found.
