Originally used in Ottoman Turkish bathhouses, this antique hamam tasi is equally at home today as a decorative bowl for soaps, bath salts, oils, jewelry, or simply displayed as a piece of hand-crafted metalwork. Hand hammered from copper and finished with a traditional tin lining, it features a bold floral rosette framed by a geometric border.
The original tin has worn naturally over time, allowing warm copper to emerge along the raised details while preserving substantial areas of the original tinned surface. The result is an authentic, beautifully aged patina that reflects decades of use and gives the bowl exceptional character.
