Four boldly turned supports rise from shaped platform feet, joined by a long central stretcher that gives the table its characteristic architectural form and enduring stability.
Trestle tables trace their history to medieval Europe, when long communal tables were built upon sturdy supporting frames and could accommodate large households and gatherings.
