Set of 6 original hand-colored lithographs from the landmark work Beautiful Leaved Plants: Being a Description of the Most Beautiful Leaved Plants in Cultivation in this Country, authored by Edward Joseph Lowe and William Howard, circa 1890.
Top Left: Ananassa sativa variegata (Variegated Pineapple Leaf)
Top Center: Cissus porphyrophyllus (Velvet-leaved Cissus / Piper)
Top Right: Cordyline indivisa (Mountain Cabbage Tree Leaf)
Bottom Left: Anoectochilus rubro-venius (Jewel Orchid variety)
Bottom Center: Pothos argyraea (Satin Pothos / Scindapsus pictus)
Bottom Right: Maranta or Calathea species (such as Maranta roseo-picta or Calathea veitchiana)
