A full refinish for this one: reglued the legs, then stripped, sanded, and dry brush stained the entire piece (General Finishes Oil-based Gel Stain) in Carbon Grey, and finished with a satin top coat lacquer (Mohawk's Perfect Blend nitrocellulose lacquer).
As you can see from the underside, it originally was a very dark brown or black. The current color is an updated steely-bluish tone that allows the wood grain to show (the last picture shows the grain on one of the legs). There are no maker's marks available.
