It … Read more This is a 1946 Mid-Century French fashion print that showcases couture designs by iconic designers Balenciaga and Maggy Rouff. It originally appeared in a French magazine of the time. It is NOT a recent reproduction print. It features highly stylized dresses with draped styled dresses, cinched waists and below the knee lengths . Note the textural fabrics with fitted detailing and the hat accessories. The Maggy Rouff design has layered sashing while the Balenciage ensemble has a bolero jacket. The images are shown on a medium grey toned heavy stock paper. The pink highlights of the Balenciage design are soft anddramatically compliment the charcoal gray ensemble. These are wonderful timeless designs that speak to today's vintage clothing fashionista. The print is pristine and makes wonderful wall decor. 9.5 x 12.75 inches in size.
