If you're desiring statement lighting pieces, then look no further!
This pair of Mid-century handmade ceramic lamps made in the studio pottery, drip glaze fashion exude a melange of colors ranging from light blue and aqua on a Kelly to dark green round column. The design is organic and almost bark-like giving the round columns sculptural quality. The round brass base on each lamp is brass metal finish; one with round smooth finish, the second one in a scalloped edged with filigree design.
The shades appear to be made of hand applied gold leaf with visible brush strokes further suggesting their handmade state. The have no holes or cracks. Even with the paper type shade when lamps are lit, the light is directed downward which really highlights the beautifully designed ceramic column offering plenty of light! Both table lamps are in excellent working condition.
These would be perfect within Hollywood Regency, Mid Century, Contemporary Modern of Organic styled interiors. I hope you'll make these one of kind beauties, "keepers" in your home!
