This Sligh-Lowry double-pedestal kneehole desk was crafted by the renowned Sligh Furniture Co. in Holland, Michigan, likely dating between the 1950s and 1960s. Built in an elegant Early American / Georgian Revival style, it features a solid wood frame with warm walnut or mahogany veneers.
Key Visual & Design Features
Premium Writing Surface: The top contains a flat, inlaid writing deck bordered by a clean wood edge.
Drawer Deisgn:
One wide, slim central pencil drawer spanning the kneehole space.
Three tiered side drawers built into one supporting pedestal pedestal, while the other features a pull out counter top for a type-writer (today it can be used for laptop.)
The right-middle section houses a deeper faux-double front file drawer.
Period Hardware: Adorned with traditional antiqued brass bail drop pulls on decoratively shaped backplates.
Classic Base: Structured with bracket-style base molding along the bottom of the pedestals, giving it a sturdy, grounded stance.

Unfortunately, when being moved the movers dented the top, scuffed the sides and therefore messed up its pristine condition. I've done my best to iron out the dents and to disguise the more noticeable scuff. I've put photographs up showing them to the best of my ability. less
