The box is interesting because it has central area with two sets of initials and 1891 date along with metal embellishments. The sides and front also have small lion mask ring handle holders. An enterprising 19th century box which also appears to have been gifted again in 1948 as it also has two sets of interior initials.

Condition: Good antique condition. Some damages and losses and repairs to the chip carved decoration.
