This beautiful Set of 3 Plates is made of porcelain. These three matching plates feature various images of Geishas in traditional Japanese style settings, elegantly painted golden details, and raised natural motifs including a repeated floral pattern and a single butterfly on each. All plates are stamped "Made in Japan" on the bottom, see pictures. The plates are painted red with white, gold, and blue details making for an intricate and eye-catching display. The condition of this Set of 3 Japanese Plates is secure and sturdy, there are some imperfections / scratches here and there due to age and as part of wear and tear, some fading to the gold paint, some small areas of missing raised paint spots, and some small marks/discoloration to the underside, one has a chip on the underside foot ring, see pictures.
The measurements: height=0.75" diameter=7.375" approx.
