Its broad single-plank top retains a richly figured, deeply worn surface with softened edges and gentle undulation, raised on slender ring-turned legs joined by a box stretcher.

Block-form joints, traditional construction, rounded feet, and centuries of tonal variation give the table a direct architectural quality. An older repair follows a stress fracture extending across the single-board top, reflecting the natural movement of the oak over time.
