This striking 12-inch hand-crafted calabash gourd vessel (Buttee) originates from the Oromo people of Ethiopia, who traditionally utilized these containers for milk storage and transport.
Sculptural Design: Hand-carved from natural calabash gourd and fitted with its original, hand-shaped wooden stopper.
Hand-Stitched Leather: Enclosed in a traditional leather harness featuring braided carrying straps and a rich, aged patina.
Natural Finish: The warm, honey-toned surface exhibits decades of natural aging and traditional curing, making it an exceptional accent for Organic Modern, Wabi-Sabi, or Global Boho interiors.
