Aesthetics of this table draw heavily from the Spanish, Renaissance or European design heritages. Hand Carved Solid Wood, Round Expandable Dining Table table shares a very strong stylistic design characteristics with Luxury heirloom collections such as Michael Amini. This round dining table features a rich chestnut finish and an ornate center pedestal base. There is one large matching insert to expand this table to seat 6 to 8 adults. Features a thick, baluster-style center column with pronounced vertical fluting and gadrooning, mimicking classic European columns decorative urn. It rests on a tiered, heavy circular stepped plinth base. Table has a deeply hand carved decorated apron rim, consisting of repeating floral rosettes enclosed in a geometric band. This table due to age has no makers mark, a table which no longer has a marking of the maker. Although the metal hardware on the under side is stamped in both English & Chinese which are characteristic of Michael Amini. Table was authenticated with a 90% authentication probability match. Non-the-less this is a beautiful table. See less
