Originally a ceramics artist from Miami, Stephen was the son of Juanita May, a well‑known ceramic artist whose influence shaped his early practice. Stephen passed away approximately six to seven years ago, leaving behind a legacy of thoughtful, tactile craftsmanship.

This piece features a smooth, elongated silhouette with a rounded body, narrow neck, and subtly flared rim, topped with a small fitted lid.
