Design

Inspired by Mozart's opera *Die Zauberflöte* (*The Magic Flute*), this vase transforms a simple cylindrical form into a richly textured decorative object. The surface is covered in an elaborate relief of stylised flowers, scrolling foliage, arabesques, and fantastical motifs that wrap continuously around the body. Finished in a luminous satin gold, the decoration catches the light softly, revealing subtle variations in depth and texture. The contrast between the richly ornamented exterior and the pristine white glazed interior reinforces the balance between decorative exuberance and formal restraint.
