Authentic Baumann children’s armchair, manufactured in France during the 1950s.

Made of solid beechwood, this charming Model 392 features the elegant curved armrests and rounded forms that made Baumann one of France’s leading furniture manufacturers. The chair also retains its original floral transfer decoration on the backrest and its Baumann factory stamp beneath the seat.

Originally designed for everyday use by young children, it is now equally appreciated as a decorative piece in a child’s bedroom, boutique, nursery, reading corner or Mid-Century interior.

The warm honey-coloured patina, gentle wear and original finish give the chair a beautiful authentic character.
