an ingenious construction, the traditional qur'an stand (kursi al-qur'an) is normally constructed from a single plank of wood, interwoven through slots so that it folds and unfolds. This card model gives some idea of its construction and decoration, and is strong enough to hold your copy of the qur'an, thus helping to keep it clean.
