A rare sculptural masterpiece designed by Hans Bellmann for Strässle Söhne & Co. Switzerland circa 1955.
Black enamel steel frame having a sculptural wooden frame top that is incredibly comfortable being designed to hug the human body and rest your arms perfectly allowing maximum circulation while at rest. From Bellmann’s “Sitwell collection.
The frame and enamel are in outstanding condition. The chair has also been freshly upholstered with Blu’ Italian blended tweed and new cushioning throughout.
