Antique Anglo Indian rectangular porcupine quill box, c.1900
Made in Ceylon, now Sri Lanka, as a local folk art using naturally shed quills and ebony wood. This box features a gentle raised top with a decorative back on the inner lid with an inlaid elephant. Good overall condition with all quills and dots intact. Recently waxed and polished.
