Bring home an exceptional example of mid-19th century Chinese Export porcelain with this hand-painted Famille Rose Medallion platter, dating circa 1840-1860 (Daoguang era). Produced for the thriving Canton export trade, these richly enameled wares became prized throughout Europe and America for their intricate court scenes, birds, florals, and brilliant famille rose palette. The substantial oval form and finely executed decoration make this an elegant display piece for Chinoiserie, Traditional, English Country, Grandmillennial, or maximalist interiors.
