There is a marking at the top front center which appears to read 'EPT. XEIPRI'- shown in last photograph. There is a wonderful honest patina to the brass giving it lots of charm. It could be polished if preferred. These style plates are attributed to Middle Eastern or European revival artisans from the early to mid 20th century. This is a unique piece of art for your home.
